Good luck to SUPA alumnus Adrian Colak!

Adrian – originally from Sault Ste. Marie – played in both our competitive team and recreational leagues between 2013 and 2015. He is participating with his touring club team from Manchester, UK at Paganello, the oldest beach ultimate tournament in the world. Adrian has been living in Manchester, UK since September 2015 to pursue his aspirations of becoming a math teacher (or maths teacher as his students call it). He travels to Rimini, Italy this weekend to play in one of the biggest international Ultimate tournaments in the world.

He got his first taste of Ultimate in Thunder Bay from 2012-2014, playing for Lakehead University while he pursued his degree in concurrent education. With Lakehead, Adrian had the opportunity to attend Canadian nationals in Kelowna (2012), Ottawa (2013) and Montreal (2014) and kept his skills sharp with SUPA in the summers. Most recently, Adrian was a member of the Air Traffic Controllers (SUPA Team League champions 2015) and G-Rex (SUPA Recreational League). Adrian is known as a strong cutter with a deadly flick. He can pull down any disc in the endzone and is equally dangerous behind the disc.

Adrian has been playing with Black Sheep Ultimate for the last 6 months. Check out this video they made about the game of Ultimate featuring Adrian and characteristic English weather.
