Listen up Ultimate fans…

Ultimate is heating up this winter with our new 3 on 3 league. 

Details you say?  You want details… We’ll give you details!

Starting Monday, January 9th at the Alexander Henry High School between the hours of 6pm to 10pm Ultimate in the Sault is going to get a little faster, a little funner (yes it’s a word, okay) and a little awesomer (also a word)!!!

Here is the deal… form your team of 6 to 9 players (no less, no more) with a minimum of 2 per gender.   One per gender on the court at all times.  Stall counts are reduced to 5 so you better toss it quick (ahh the pressure!).

Season will end sometime in April.

Now that you are excited to play, we bet you want to know how much all this excitement is going to cost you.  First, buy your 2012 SUPA membership which is good for the year, covers your butt for insurance, gets you a disc, access to all four leagues and an awesomer wickeder summer party for the decently low price of $20.  Then cough up an extra $10 and you got yourself some 3 on 3 action (get your mind out of the gutter, 3 on 3 Ultimate action…hmm maybe that didn’t really clarify things).   Play in all 4 leagues and technically you’re playing 3 on 3 for $15! 

Registration will be open soon for both 2012 Membership and 3 on 3 Ultimate.  Check soon, check often, rinse thoroughly, repeat.

OH!  Before we forget… on Mondays between 5 and 7 in the large gym come and play some pick up.  Pick is going on now and will continue during the Winter league.

This is to notify members of the Sault Ultimate Players Association Inc. that the annual general meeting for 2010 will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. 

The meeting will be held at the John Rhodes Community Centre meeting room.  

Time:  7:00 PM
Date:  October 25, 2010

Board members will be elected this night and a summary of 2010 and 2011 will be provided.  This is your chance to make a difference or elect the people who will help shape SUPA’s future.

Sorry for screaming, but we are just a little bit excited.

The leaves are changing colours, the wind and rain seem to be coming and going as they feel like, so we say to heck with this crazy mother nature.

We may love her in the summer, but when it comes to fall, it’s time to head inside and hide.

While we’re hiding inside, we figure, why not play some Ultimate?

So we decided to do just that. Indoor Ultimate at the Alexander Henry High School. We even ramped it up and created two fall league nights.

Monday between 5 and 7 you can get a little of that post work stress out. $20 for the Ultimate therapy is hard to beat.

Saturday after 6:30, what better way to get the night started? A little ulimate, a shower and then hit the town! $20 bucks for 10 or 11 saturday nights? Probably the cheapest night out you’ll have in a long while.

Can’t get enough ultimate? We understand… so we offer a $5 discount if you play both nights.

We are in such a hurry to start playing, that registartion ends October 7th, so you better hurry and register too! Each night is limited to 40 players.

Hello folks,

Preparations are underway to bring you fall league. We are currently waiting on the Algoma District School Board to find a place for us to play.

They are trying to fit us in during the week at our request, so games will likley be somewhere between Monday and Friday.

As we learn more, we will give you more details.

We are hoping for a mid September start time and a late November to Early December end time.
